Reverse Confetti / CAS(E) this Sketch!

CAS(E) this Sketch4

Hello!  I love a good CAS sketch and this week's CAS(E) this Sketch is just that!  The only thing that was hard about this was not adding bling!

Using some of my favorite Blooms 'n Buds stamps from Reverse Confetti along with a fabulous bold sentiment from Big Notes.  I started by stamping my blooms and leaves in Piggy Bank, Buttercup, and Seafoam Premium Dye Inks.  My sentiment was stamped in Lead Premium Dye Ink.  To finish this and make it really stand out, I die cut the largest frame in All Framed Up out of Lead Cardstock.

Just look at this color palette!  I love it!

Technique Tuesday / Countdown to Release Day 2

Gertie and Garth Goat

Hello!
Today, we continue the countdown to the Technique Tuesday March release!
There are so many cute stamps and dies!

Make sure to check out the Technique Tuesday blog for all the products featured today and full list of inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!  All products (via their links) will be available for purchase starting on March 1.

Technique Tuesday is no stranger to "punny" stamp sets and this one is just hilarious!  Who knew a goat set could be so cute?!  This one is called Gertie and Garth Goat.

I created a mini scene using a standard circle die and flicked on some grass using my G24 and G46 Copics.  I ink blended the sky very lightly with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.  I colored my goat with the Neutral Gray Copics and added it to my scene with foam adhesive.  I white heat embossed this punny sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock.

SugarPea Designs / Topiary Garden

Hello and Welcome!
SugarPea Designs just finished a fabulous release for February!  I know the new Topiary Garden will fast become a favorite set.  It can be used for so many occasions!

Topiary27

I stamped the images of my topiary with some my inks using the rock 'n roll technique.  I love how easy it is to give dimension using this technique!  I layered my topiary onto a panel that was die cut using the Card Front Element Builder SugarCut.  This panel was spritzed with Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine.  Quick and easy card!

Technique Tuesday / Countdown to Release Day 1

Love You to Pieces

Hello and Welcome!
Today starts the countdown to the Technique Tuesday March release!
There are so many cute stamps and dies!

Make sure to check out the Technique Tuesday blog for all the products featured today and full list of inspiration from the rest of the Design Team!  All products will be available for purchase starting on March 1.

I am sharing a card made with the new Pieces of my Heart Crafting Die and the stamp set Love You to Pieces.

I created a square card using some grey buffalo check paper and the Threaded Crafting Dies for a fun look on the border.  I die cut the Pieces of my Heart Crafting Die out of the buffalo check paper and saved the puzzle piece from the inside of the heart.  To create dimension, I added my buffalo check "negative" to my notecard with foam adhesive and then pieced back in a red Pieces of my Heart Crafting Die with the middle puzzle piece popped with foam adhesive.  My sentiment, from Love You to Pieces, was stamped in bold black to the lower right corner.

It's hard to tell from my photo but I coated the swirled layer on the cupcake as well as the cherry on top with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen.

Reverse Confetti / CAS(E) this Sketch! #259

CAS(E) this Sketch

Hello!  I created this card earlier this week and hadn't posted it yet for the current CAS(E) this Sketch!  I'm now getting it in just under the wire for the deadline!

I LOVE this sketch!  So easy to pull a CAS card together.  I used the Lotsa Dots Stencil along with Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.  For my main image, I colored the kite from Take Flight with Copics and die cut using the matching Take Flight Confetti Cuts.

Avery Elle / Toucan Party

Hello!
Are you ready for a little "toucan party"?  This new stamp set from Avery Elle has you covered when it comes to sentiments.....birthday, thanks, and just "tropi-cool"!

Toucan Party

To a panel of white cardstock, I ink blended some Broken China Distress Oxide ink to one corner (this does not have to be perfect).  To this panel, I used the Polka Dot Plate to die cut the polka dots.

Toucan Party2

I stamped my images using New Moon Dye Ink, Copic colored, and die cut using the Toucan Party Elle-ments.  My sentiment was white heat embossed using Pure White Fine Embossing Powder.  I simply layered my images, some with foam adhesive, to my white notecard that was layered with the polka dot panel.

Winnie & Walter / Special Guest Star

Hello!
I am so excited to be posting over on the Winnie & Walter blog as a special guest star during their 4th Birthday Bash!

I have a TWO cards to share where I incorporated some of the Birthday Bash challenges that are going on this month.

Here are some sneak peeks, so go check them out!

This first card was based off the FOUR Challenge by Shay.  I blended FOUR rows of triangles using the Triangled Creative Screening.

Hi2

My second card uses the Shaker Challenge by Lea.  I created my own plaid using the V is for CheVron stamps.  The small set called Happy Birthday to You was used as the main image for my shaker.

Technique Tuesday / Fun News

DT announcement

Hello!  I'm so excited to share that I have joined up with the wonderful DT over at Technique Tuesday!  We will get things started with the new release next week!

I had to make a project to share today using the Enjoy Layered Flower and coordinating dies.  I stamped and die cut the flower and leaves (I used Altenew ink) and layered them on a piece of light green gingham paper that I used the Threaded Crafting Dies on the edges for the zig zag look!
